Tuna
The fourth Tuna dish inspired by Iron Chef Masahiko Kobe's
battle with Challenger Shinya Tasaki
Tuna Pasta Grill
Chef Kobe cut the skin off a big chunk of tuna. He fried the
big block with garlic whole cloves. He wrapped the block
in pasta and fried it in a pan, basting it with hot oil.
He served garlic sauce, pickles, and eggs with the dish.
Wooden Chef Recipe: Tuna Pasta Loaf
Pan fry a big block of tuna with garlic cloves, or sauté four
6 oz. cans of albacore tuna with lots of garlic (fresh if you
don’t mind chopping it or powder if you’re in a hurry).
Wrap the fried block in pasta and fry the block in a pan,
basting with hot oil, or take a can of instant pizza crust, put
the cooked albacore tuna in it, wrap it up tightly, spray it
with cooking oil, and bake the block in the oven according
to the pizza crust instructions until it’s golden brown. Slice
off a slab of tuna and serve it on rice. Serve with garlic
sauce made by adding garlic to the oil the tuna was fried in.
Add pickles, or slice a cucumber and marinate the slices in vinegar.
