 The first Tuna dish inspired by Iron Chef Masahiko Kobe's

 battle with Challenger Shinya Tasaki

                                         

                   Tuna Sandwiched in Eggplant, marinated in Cinzano

 

Wooden Chef Recipe:

 Slice the middle of an eggplant as thinly as you can to get the biggest pieces.

 Salt both sides of the slices to remove the bitter taste. Mix 2 – 6 oz. cans of

albacore tuna with a chopped green onion and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice.

 Salt will draw the juice out of the eggplant, then rinse off the salt. Cook the

eggplant slices in butter or ghee until they get tender. Make little tuna sandwiches

 with the eggplant slices. Serve it with jalapeno rings,  Mandarin orange slices, and

 crushed peppercorns. Put a dab of teriyaki sauce on the plate. Dress it up with cilantro.
