Sunday, December 1st, 2002 NEW special dessert battle

I missed most of this because I thought it was 9:00 Central.

That's OK, it's on again next Sunday.

 Friday, December 6th, 2002 repeat

Whoops, I missed it again, but it's on again Friday the 20th!

 Friday, December 13th, 2002 rerun?

Main Ingredient:  Turkey
Cooking Style: Neo Japanese vs. Japanese
Iron Chef:  Masaharu Morimoto  Challenger: Jiro Kokue

Oops, maybe this was a new one and I missed it.

Saturday, December 14th, 2002
Main Ingredient: Sturgeon
Cooking Style: Szechwan Chinese vs. Japanese
Iron Chef:  Chen Kenichi    Challenger:  Ryozo Asou

This battle didn't look familiar, so I taped it. Watching them wrestle with the live fish was fun.

Sunday, December 15th, 2002
Main Ingredient: Turkey
Cooking Style:  Neo Japanese vs. Japanese
Iron Chef: Masaharu Morimoto   Challenger: Jiro Kokue

 I updated the website (finally).

Friday, December 20th, 2002 rerun

Main Ingredient: Strawberry
Cooking Style: French  vs. Japanese
Iron Chef:  Hiroyuki Sakai  Challenger: Masayo Waki

Oh oh, I missed it again. Well, I saw enough of it the first time to know that you

put strawberries in the blender with some sugar, then use cake decorators to

draw a pattern on the plates, and fill the pattern up with strawberry puree.

Saturday, December 21st, 2002
Main Ingredient: Oxtail
Cooking Style: French vs. Italian
Iron Chef: Hiroyuki Sakai   Challenger:  Takahashi Hosogai

I taped this one because I couldn't believe they had such an awful ingredient.

I think oxtail must just be a little bit above Charlotte's suggestion of skunk tail.

Sunday, December 22nd, 2002

Main Ingredient: Shark's Fin
Cooking Style: Maverick Japanese vs. Japanese
Iron Chef:  Rokusaboro Michiba   Challenger: Sei Hoi

Shark's fin looks like clear noodles, remember?

I fixed the Quail pages. I've added a main menu page for each theme ingredient, listing each battle

and each dish offered. Now you can look at any individual dish from any battle. I'll be reworking the

recipe pages so they each have a main menu list.

I updated the website for Christmas. Hey, another weekly update!
