Wooden Chef's First Day at Jacque en le Carton. I worked from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

That evening I had a call from a contractor at Dell Computers offering more money than Jacque, but

also having no permanent employment, long hours, rotating shifts, and a lot of that high tech stuff.

I decided to reject the "on-call-24/7" and stay with the nice people I had just met at Jacque.

Thursday, February 28th, 2002

I worked from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. again, everything seemed fine, they had told me that I

would become an assistant manager in about six months. There was only one assistant manager

for both of the stores.
